Kibali Ownership Change in Randgold Merger Needs Approval: Congo

A change of the ownership structure at the Kibali mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo as a result of
the proposed merger between Barrick Gold and Randgold Resources would require prior agreement from Congo’s government, the country’s Mines Ministry says in news release.
